I'm a photographer and videographer working out of Lund in southern Sweden. Most of what I do falls into two halves: commissioned work for people and businesses around Skåne and Copenhagen, and long personal projects made while travelling — Morocco's Atlantic coast, Barcelona, Warsaw and Gdańsk, New York.
Those two halves feed each other. Documentary habits picked up in a market in Essaouira are the same ones that get an honest frame at a summer garden party in Skåne: stay out of the way, wait, and be ready when the moment arrives.
I shoot almost entirely in available light. I'd rather move to where the light already is than fill a room with strobes, which tends to make people feel less photographed and more themselves. Every set is colour-graded by hand, stills and video alike — I'm after work that still looks good in ten years, not tuned to this season's preset.
